Microblading Tips

best microblading in frisco

Permanent makeup is an art, not a science. Individual client results will vary. Remember, no two sides of the face are the same. Perfection is the goal, but brows are sisters, not twins.

What to Expect:

I allow two and a half hours for our microblading appointment, so that you have plenty of time to get numb before we begin. Most of the treatment is spent measuring, drawing, checking, double-checking, choosing your pigment color, answering all of your questions about semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo, and going over the paperwork. The 3D microblading itself takes approximately one hour and post microblading care tips will be provided at your appointment. Note that the touch up appointments take less than one hour.

Microblading Eyebrows Pre-Care Tips

  • No alcohol 24 hours before procedure.
  • Limit caffeine prior to your appointment.
  • Do not take Aspirin, Ibuprofen or Fish Oil 24 hours before procedure.
  • Botox should be performed at least one week prior to procedure.
  • No brow waxing or tinting 48 hours before you get your eyebrows tattooed.
  • Discontinue glycolics, chemical peels and Retin-A 1 week prior to procedure.
  • You MUST be OFF Accutane for at least 1 year. NO exceptions!
  • Microblading is NOT allowed while pregnant or nursing.
  • Note: If you are on your menstrual cycle you will be MUCH more sensitive and it is not recommended to book your brow appointment during those days.

Microblading Eyebrows Post-Care Tips

  • Microblading eyebrows is a "dry heal". Do not get brows wet for 7 days.
  • Do not rub, pick or scratch the treated area. It will cause pigment loss Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate off.
  • Maintain moisture on your brows with the aftercare ointment. Reapply regularly when hair stroke eyebrows feel dry or brow skin feels taut.
  • Avoid soaps, facial cleansers & makeup on 3D brows for 7 days after procedure.
  • Avoid sweating heavily for 7 days after your Microblading. Any activity that may cause sweating through or on the brows, can cause the hairstrokes to blur under the skin and there is no fixing this.
  • Use common sense when it comes to post Microblading care tips. The better you can protect the brow area, and the longer you can protect the brow area, the better your results will be.

Failure to follow flash brows by Heather Gordon post-procedure instructions may cause loss of pigment, discoloration, or infection.
